This field of medicine has evolved over a period of three decades in Europe and Australia and it is still evolving. ICATT is known for its depth in quality of Medical expertise in the field of Aviation Medicine in India, UK and Australia and GHA is known for its expanse in the vast training initiatives in India (and now in China, Middle East and South-East Asia). This training program has been jointly developed by the promoters of ICATT and GHA and complimented by Medical experts in HEMS from UK, Germany, Norway and Australia. There will be knowledge sharing and focused training from joint faculties from these national HEMS services, with their experience in the field of more than 4 decades each. This makes FAM, one of the most unique and one of its kind training program in the world. It will be the first time ever, that Experts from 5 geographically and culturally different countries, would jointly train doctors in India to be at par with the best in this specialty.

ICATT
(International Critical-Care Air Transfer Team)

This organization was founded and headed by Dr. Rahul Singh Sardar and Dr. Shalini Nalwad. It is a highly specialized Air Ambulance service which banks on the quality and depth of its medical expertise in Intensive care. Based in South India, operating out of Bangalore, these promoters of ICATT have over a decade of experience in Critical care and Aviation Medicine in UK. Apart from being actively involved in doing the transfers themselves, they have formed a core group of UK returned Specialists to help them as they expand. Apart from Fixed wing Inter-facility transfers of Critical patients and organs, they have done the first ever HEMS drill in EMCON 2016 at Madurai and are in the process of piloting the first HEMS Service for India. This training program was primarily designed with the help of GHA as a bespoke skill set requirement of ICATT for their new recruits from India to serve in their Fixed wing Air ambulances as well as the roll out of their HEMS program in 2018 as the RAID (Rapid Assessment Intervention and Dispatch) team. Therefore, candidates going through the FAM training will be considered in the selection process for the RAID team in 2018.
